Version 0.3.6: SATCOM, military satellites and a band filter for receivers
The catalogue gains the pirates on the SATCOM military satellites: one click and the program takes a receiver with the right band by itself. The receiver list now shows what each receiver can tune, with a filter by band and by frequency.
SATCOM in the catalogue. Old US Navy satellites over the Atlantic relay whatever reaches them, and Brazilian pirates have used that for decades: Portuguese chatter nearly around the clock on 243 to 270 MHz. The Military rubric has two new lines, 262.175 and 255.550 MHz. Click either, and the program finds an online receiver that can tune the band and stands closest to the point under the satellite (Spain, Portugal, the Canaries, Brazil), sets the frequency and FM. What it is, who transmits and why, and when to listen, in the article SATCOM on 262.175 MHz.
What a receiver can tune. The program used to know only the band an OpenWebRX was on at the moment, and the upper frequency limit stuck at 30 MHz until you switched. Now, while checking the list, it reads every profile of every receiver, and the list shows under each name what it tunes: HF · 2m · Air · SATCOM · 70cm.
A filter by band and frequency. Above the receiver list, next to the amateur bands, there are now the service ones: MW, CB 27, Air, Marine, SATCOM, ADS-B, each with the number of receivers. Beside them a kHz field: type a frequency and only the receivers that have it remain. The question of where to listen to 262.175 takes one click.
Signing. The Windows builds are signed with the SERVA ONE LTD certificate: the installer shows a publisher instead of unknown. The macOS build is signed with a developer certificate; Apple's notarization ticket will attach as soon as Apple finishes checking the account, with no update needed on your side.
